Lab X female, 3 years old and a darlin’ 60 pounds
Cher quickly became the shelter Adoption Coordinator’s favorite dog, due to her fun and sweet personality! Cher is easy to walk on leash and enjoys being out in the great wild youder! Cher is mellow indoors, and when she was in the Meet & Greet room, she got up on the couch and took a snooze. Cher came from a hoarding situation and lived with several dogs of all sizes.
Lab X male, 10 months old and 40 mighty adorable pounds
Petty can be a little shy when first meeting new people, but it doesn’t take long for him to warm up and show his playful personality. Petty walks nicely on-leash and is eager to learn new things. Petty came from a hoarding situation and unfortunately, he did not get much socialization with people. He lived with several dogs of all sizes. We know with some TLC Petty will gain confidence and become a loving loyal companion.
Labrador mix male puppy, 7 months old and 45 pounds
Buck is currently in a foster home getting lots of exposure to other dogs, cats and people. He knows sit, is crate trained, lives with other dogs and has been getting along with cats. Buck may need some time to adjust to any new environment, but we don’t think it will take long before he is trying to crawl into your lap!
Mixed Breed male, 9 months old and 47 uber-good looking pounds
Tommy came to the shelter as a stray. This pup had a shoe string imbedded into the flesh around his neck, and needed surgery for it to be removed. Tommy enjoyed spending time in the Meet and Greet room during his evaluation. As new people walked in and out, he was curious and engaging. Tommy walks nicely on leash and enjoys getting out for walks. We want this young dog to be adopted into a home where he will know kindness, and be inundated with TLC…because he deserves nothing less.
Shepherd female, 10 months old and 41 joyful pounds
Joy enjoyed spending time in the meet and greet room during her evaluation. As new people walked in and out, she was curious and engaging. Joy is like most dogs her age—energetic and fun-loving. This beautiful Shepherd type dog is an active girl who will benefit from basic obedience training. Joy already knows sit, and undoubtedly will learn more very quickly. Joy loves her toys!
Mixed Breed male, 1 year old and 75 good-looking pounds
Cody is one handsome dude! He’s a sweet, happy boy who’s in heaven when he is getting attention! Cody is easy to walk and enjoys going on adventures. We think Cody would be happy in a home with children and perhaps a friendly canine roomie. This guy will be a loyal and loving companion.
Shepherd female, 1 year old and 48 beautiful pounds
Noel is such a sweetheart! She enjoys going on walks, hanging out with people, and best of all, we think our lovely Noel is house trained. Noel was very mellow in the meet and greet room, lounging about and saying hi to staff and volunteers. This gorgeous girl will be someone’s best friend, and we can’t wait to find her furever home!
Mixed Breed male puppy, 11 weeks old and 13 adorable pounds
CUTENESS ALERT! Jaxson is a feisty, playful puppy. Like most puppies, he loves to play with toys and wants to be with people all the time. We love puppies! (who doesn’t?) but we always remind adopters to make sure you have plenty of consistent time, love, and energy to ensure your bundle of adorable matures into a well-behaved and well loved member of the pack.

Charlie is in the fun-puppy stage, that’s for sure! He gets excited at the mere THOUGHT of a bouncing tennis ball! Charlie would love to learn all about playing with toys and interacting with new people. Puppies are THE BEST, but we always remind puppy adopters that young dogs need lots of time, TLC, and consistent, basic training, to ensure they mature into well mannered and much loved members of their new families.
UPDATE 12/17/24 Charlie has been in a foster home getting lots of attention and exposure! Here is an update on a few things from his foster mom- "He is doing better with potty training and he is gaining some weight. Walks well on a leash and understands commands. He sits and loves other dogs. Has some prey drive so living with a cat might take work. Being he lived in wild he has some fears to get over."

Yogi is a funny, energetic pup who’s ready to wiggle his way right into your heart! Mr. Handsome will make a great walking or running partner; he will be so happy to a part of his new family’s activities, and be with them as much as possible. Yogi is an energetic dog who will need daily exercise and plenty of outdoor space to enjoy.

Adam is a happy and energetic young dog who has a very inquisitive personality—he’s interested in everything going on around him! Adam is eager to learn new things. As a young dog, Adam needs gentle and consistent guidance and lots of TLC to grow into the best adult dog he can be!
German Shepherd Dog NEUTERED male, 2 years old and 65 oh-so-handsome pounds.
Elliott is a sweet and easy going dog. He loves to play with toys and knows sits, down and shake. This delightful guy is also easy to walk on leash. Elliott can be shy at first, but once he gets comfortable and trusts you, he will be your best buddy, and you his! BONUS Elliot loves other dogs and would do well with another k9 buddy in his new home!
