Female, bully mix, 1 year old and 44 pounds
Aspen 1 year old female that weighs 44lbs. Aspen is a lovely dog and would make a great addition to any family! She is friendly with people and tested well with other dogs. In fact, we think she would love to have a canine friend in her new home! Aspen is very mellow indoors and we think she is house trained. Aspen could use some basic obedience training, she is eager to learn and just wants to please.
Doberman spayed female puppy, 10 months old and 45 pounds.
Eve is a very inquisitive, young dog. Although she can be a bit shy, she is very sweet, and does well with people. More exposure to new and different places, people, experiences, pets, and surroundings will be a great way for her to gain confidence. Eve will need gentle and consistent training with lots and lots of TLC to mature into a well loved member of her new pack. This girl is eager to learn and be your BFF. And did we mention she is ADORABLE??!
Mixed Breed SPAYED female, 7 months old and 59 good-looking pounds
Wednesday has a good start on her basic training. She walks politely on-leash and really enjoys going on adventures. This lovely girl is very friendly and social. Wednesday arrived at the shelter when she was a young puppy and has grown up with staff and volunteers. We’re all hoping this beautiful girl will find her forever home soon!
**Tonya 1 year old female that weighs 65lbs. **
Tonya is no couch potato—she’s super friendly with people and very excited to meet everyone! Tonya needs a bit more basic training, as she has a tendency to pull on-leash. But she’s eager to learn, and if she is a Malinois or German Shepherd Dog, very smart, as well! Our gorgeous girl enjoys playing with toys and getting out in the world, sniffing about. We believe Tonya would enjoy a canine housemate.
**Dogo Argentino female, 5 years old and 80 pounds ** Rosie LOVES people and is very attentive. Unfortunately, she tested positive for heartworm, but our wonderful clinic staff is taking good care of her, and she is on the road to recovery! Rosie was such a good girl and was very well behaved in our evaluation room. She will need a home without other dogs and an experienced handler. Rosie knows sit and is easy to walk on leash! We think Rosie would love a warm home with a soft place where she can enjoy an afternoon nap—and lots of love, given and received, in her golden years.

Cassie has a very sweet, playful side when she feels comfortable, but can be nervous and unsure with new experiences or people. Cassie is a young adolescent who will benefit from a guardian who can get her out and about, letting her experience new environments and meet new people. Cassie came from a hoarding situation, and unfortunately, did not get much socialization with people. She lived with several dogs.

Although she needs some fine tuning in the doggie manners department, Reba aims to please and is very attentive to her handler. With consistent training and lots of love, someone is going to end up with a loyal and loving companion. Reba was very underweight when she arrived at the shelter from a hoarding situation, but we’ve been fattening her up! This beautiful girl settles very nicely inside and would enjoy a canine friend in her new home.

Joplin is very sweet but she’s overwhelmed finding herself at the shelter. She can be a little nervous meeting new people, but we think she will be feeling much more comfortable once she spends time with our great volunteers. Joplin is easy to walk and enjoys getting outside where she can sniff to her heart’s delight. Indoors, Joplin is mellow. Joplin came from a hoarding situation, and unfortunately, she did not get much socialization with people—but that’s all going to change now that she’s safe and sound at the Shelter.

Rihanna came to the shelter from a hoarding situation, and very thin. She lived with several other dogs. Rihanna can be shy when she first meets new people, but warms up once she feels comfortable. When Rihanna was in the meet and greet room, we found out she LOVES to play with toys! Rihanna does walk on leash and likes to be right next to her person. With some time and lots of love, we think Rihanna will bloom into a wonderful companion.

Sweet Loretta is a little bit shy, but once she knows you and feels comfortable, she warms up and becomes a playful puppy! Loretta does walk on leash, but she will need lots of TLC and basic obedience. She’s eager to please, so training will be fun and rewarding for her. Loretta came to the shelter from a hoarding situation and was very skinny. But, this girl is a beauty!
