Cherry can be a little shy with new people, but is very sweet as well. Cherry will do best with a guardian who has the time and experience to work with a shy dog, helping her to build up confidence. We don’t think it will take long for Cherry to become a confident, secure companion, ready to be your best buddy.

This beauty of a dog is friendly and sweet and loves to be around people. She walks well on leash and enjoys getting out and about. Tess loves her toys she can entertain herself for hours. We think Tess will be a fine companion for a home with children. What’s not to love?

June is a great medium-sized dog—a good match for guardians who live in apartments, or small homes. June is very people-orientated. She wasn’t interested in playing with toys during her meet & greet/evaluation. She WAS interested in getting pets and attention! June wants to be the only canine getting all the love and attention in her new home. Just look at that happy face!!

Poppy was a little bit shy—but very sweet during her evaluation. It doesn’t take her long to warm up, and then she’s your best friend! Poppy is mellow inside and easy to walk on leash. Poppy came to the shelter with her canine friend, Rocky, but right now she seems unsure of the other dogs at the Shelter. Poppy would like to meet any potential doggie housemates in her new home.

Naomi is a sweet girl who likes to be RIGHT by your side! She’s a mellow dog with lovely indoor manners. Naomi lived with another dog in her last home, and we think Naomi will make a great family dog. We like our canine guests to meet any potential dog roommates, just to be sure the fit is good!

Sharpie has the personality of a large puppy. If you’re looking for a walking partner, Sharpie is your girl! Sharpie loves getting out in the great wide world, and being in on adventures and meeting new people. Sharpie has good indoor manners and likes to be with her people. Sounds pretty great, dontcha think?!

Wynonna is shy at first but warms up with some sweet talking and treats! She lived with other dogs, but must meet any new potential playmates before going home. Wynonna is sweet and would make a great emotional support dog or cuddle buddy! With a little training and socializing, we think this cutie will make a great family addition.

Kate walks nice on leash and enjoys going for walks. Kate is playful and friendly, but like all puppies, she needs basic training, exercise, and proper socialization to become a well-behaved k9 citizen. German Shepherds are wonderful, loyal, and very smart dogs!

Autumn is a smart, active dog. This girl would love a home with guardians who will include her on long walks and hikes. Autumn is friendly with people, knows sit, down and shake! What a smarty pants! She will need some leash work, but overall, Autumn is a happy and friendly girl. Autumn lived with another dog in her last home, so she could potentially live with another k9.

America came to the shelter with her eight pups— our STATE PUPPIES! Now, she’s learning how to be her own dog & puppy-free, getting ready to find her own forever home! America loves people and seems to be mellow indoors. Aside from needing a little leash work, and basic obedience, we think she will make a great, well behaved companion. Just look at her sweet, sweet face!
GERMAN SHEPHED DOG female, 1 year and 51 beautiful pounds
Although she needs some fine tuning in the training department, Lady aims to please and is very attentive to her handler. With daily exercise and training, someone’s going to end up with an excellent dog. Lady is playful with toys and settles very nicely inside. And what a gorgeous coat and soulful eyes this beauty has!

Ducky is a lovely dog and would make a great addition to any family! She is friendly with people, tested well with other dogs-in fact, we think she would love to have a k9 friend in her new home! After a nice walk, she settled nicely and enjoyed laying at the feet of our staff members. We think she could use some basic obedience, but whoever ends up with this gal will sure be one lucky Duck!
