Lab X male, 5 months old and a darling 40 pounds
Charlie is in the fun-puppy stage, that’s for sure! He gets excited at the mere THOUGHT of a bouncing tennis ball! Charlie would love to learn all about playing with toys and interacting with new people. Puppies are THE BEST, but we always remind puppy adopters that young dogs need lots of time, TLC, and consistent, basic training, to ensure they mature into well mannered and much loved members of their new families.
Lab blend? male, 10 months old and 70 striking pounds
Yogi is a funny, energetic pup who’s ready to wiggle his way right into your heart! Mr. Handsome will make a great walking or running partner; he will be so happy to a part of his new family’s activities, and be with them as much as possible. Yogi is an energetic dog who will need daily exercise and plenty of outdoor space to enjoy.
Doberman male, 7 months old and 38 pounds
Tons of fun and then some, James is a high-flying, jolly dog! We think James did not get much training as a younger puppy, and now he has some catching up to do! James is very food oriented, and that will help him with basic training. Dobies are smart dogs who learn quickly. They are “velcro” dogs, meaning they like to be close to their people…always!

Jester is a super spunky guy! He loves to be the center of attention and enjoys playing with toys. We love puppies, but we always remind potential adopters to make sure they have plenty of time and TLC to ensure their bundle of fluff matures into a well-loved and behaved member of the family. We bet Jester will enjoy going to canine classes, and perhaps excel at obedience, flyable or agility!

Adam is a happy and energetic young dog who has a very inquisitive personality—he’s interested in everything going on around him! Adam is eager to learn new things. As a young dog, Adam needs gentle and consistent guidance and lots of TLC to grow into the best adult dog he can be!
Doberman female puppy, 6 months old and 37 pounds.
Eve is a very inquisitive, young dog. Although she can be a bit shy, she is very sweet, and does well with people. More exposure to new and different places, people, experiences, pets, and surroundings will be a great way for her to gain confidence. Eve will need gentle and consistent training with lots and lots of TLC to mature into a well loved member of her new pack. This girl is eager to learn and be your BFF. And did we mention she is ADORABLE??!
Akita mix female, 7 months old and 40 pounds—as of October 10
Puff is a friendly, happy gal! She loves attention and seems to be playful with other dogs. Puff came in with an injury to one of her back legs. Our vets looked her over and found it is an old injury that has healed, and is not in pain, but she will walk with a bit of a limp. Puff is happy with short walks. Puff was a blast to have in the Meet & Greet room, where we enjoyed watching her play with her toys, flipping them in the air and attempting to fit them all in her mouth at once! She will make an awesome family pet!
German Sheperd Dog male, 8 months old and 41 pounds
Fritz is your typical, happy, energetic young dog! During his Meet & Greet, we learned that Fritz knows sit, loves playing with stuffed toys and enjoyed meeting a fellow shelter guest. Fritz will benefit from basic obedience training, and we bet he will be a star pupil, as Germans Shepherd Dogs are smart, agile and energetic. This very handsome dog is eager to please and seems to love everyone he meets!

Gretel is a supper sweet pup! She loves to cuddle and is eager to please. Gretel had a blast playing with toys during her evaluation. Gretel came to the shelter with a dog friend, so she may be ok living with a canine housemate. German Shepherd Dogs are very smart and loyal, and with training, they make wonderful companions!

Simon lives with his brother Garfunkel in a foster home, along with other dogs cats, and children. He’s a sweet and social puppy. Puppies are THE BEST—but they need lots of consistent, loving training and TLC to ensure they mature into well behaved and loved members of their pack— so be sure you have enough time for your puppy. Simon will be a medium-sized adult dog.
Shepherd X? NEUTERED male puppy, 3 months old and 15 pounds (as of 11/4)
Garfunkel lives with his brother Simon in a foster home, along with other dogs cats, and children. He’s a sweet and social puppy. Puppies are THE BEST—but they need lots of consistent, loving training and TLC to ensure they mature into well behaved and loved members of their pack— so be sure you have enough time for your puppy. Garfunkel will be a medium-sized adult dog.
Cattle dog mix, female, 6 months old and 30 pounds as of 10/30
Lorena is a shy puppy who will need a little extra TLC to help her gain confidence; having a friendly dog in her new home may help her. Once Lorena feels comfy, she wants to crawl in you lap to steal some kisses and belly rubs! Lorena will need loving and consistent training and socialization to ensure she will become a well behaved and much loved adult member of her pack. This little cutie looks like she will become your BFF!
