**German Shepherd Dog mix female, 6 months old and 46 pounds. **
Gretel is a supper sweet pup! She loves to cuddle and is eager to please. Gretel had a blast playing with toys during her evaluation. Gretel came to the shelter with a dog friend, so she may be ok living with a canine housemate. German Shepherd Dogs are very smart and loyal, and with training, they make wonderful companions!

Elliott is a sweet and easy going dog. He loves to play with toys and knows sits, down and shake. This delightful guy is also easy to walk on leash. Elliott can be shy at first, but once he gets comfortable and trusts you, he will be your best buddy, and you his!
Queensland Heeler, NEUTERED male, 15 months old and 34 pounds.
Canelo is crate trained, house-broken and knows basic obedience. He is playful with other dogs and even knows a few tricks! What more could you ask for? Queensland Heelers are VERY smart and active dogs—and excel at canine activities such as obedience, agility, and herding. This great dog is available through Anderson Valley Animal Rescue. Simon lives with his brother Garfunkel in a foster home, along with other dogs cats, and children. He’s a sweet and social puppy. Puppies are THE BEST—but they need lots of consistent, loving training and TLC to ensure they mature into well behaved and loved members of their pack— so be sure you have enough time for your puppy. Simon will be a medium-sized adult dog.

Garfunkel will be a medium-sized adult dog.
Cattle dog mix, female, 6 months old and 30 pounds as of 10/30
Lorena is a shy puppy who will need a little extra TLC to help her gain confidence; having a friendly dog in her new home may help her. Once Lorena feels comfy, she wants to crawl in you lap to steal some kisses and belly rubs! Lorena will need loving and consistent training and socialization to ensure she will become a well behaved and much loved adult member of her pack. This little cutie looks like she will become your BFF!
Great Pyrenees? female, 6 years old and 58 lovely pounds
Elle is a happy and social dog who enjoys the company of people and is quick to seek out attention. She’s easy to walk on-leash and enjoys getting out and about for adventures. Elle will need daily exercise and lots of time with her new family. SECURE FENCING is a must. Elle seems to prefer being outside rather than inside, but is mellow indoors and likes to be close to people.
Mixed Breed male, 1.5 years old and a playful 73 pounds
Bodacious is friendly and sweet and loves to be around people. He has an outgoing, playful personality. He’s easy to leash up and enjoys going for walks. Bodacious, like all dogs, would benefit from basic canine training, so ask us about classes in Ukiah. This handsome dog is searching for an active family who will include him on walks and adventures.
German Shepherd Dog SPAYED female, 7 years old and 103 pounds
Beautiful Bella is a gentle giant. Bella is not your typical Shepherd—she’s not high-strung or high energy. She's shy girl, however, and will need a guardian who understands shy dogs. Bella was brought to the Shelter when her guardian began having health issues. Bella is calm and loving, enjoys car rides, and she is cautious with new people and dogs. We think Bella would be the perfect companion in a quiet home, with a guardian who is home most of the time and looking for a best friend. Pictures do not do this dog justice…she is a stunner.
Mixed Breed male, 2 years old and 40 VERY handsome pounds
Jay is worried meeting new people but warms up after a few treats. He walks great on leash and really enjoys getting out in the wild blue yonder. Jay knows sit and down and he’s eager to learn new tricks. This dude will do anything for a treat, and that will help with his training. Because Jay can be a little standoffish, we are recommending older kids in his new home. Jay has excellent indoor manners and loves to sit on the couch with you. Jay would probably like a female canine friend/housemate. And those eyes!! Whoa!
Husky/Akita? male, 2 years old and 84 HANDSOME pounds.
Eric is a happy and social dog who enjoys the company of people and is quick to seek out attention. Eric enjoys playing with toys and getting out and about for long walks and adventures with his human. As a bonus, this guy has great leash manners! Eric has a good start on basic training and he already knows sit, down and shake! Eric has a very playful attitude and he’s like a big ol’ playful puppy…with the accent on big!
