Pyrenees? Pyrenees mix? female, 8 years old and 74 beautiful pounds
Bea really enjoys going for walks and being outside, and she’s very mellow inside! Bea can be a little nervous meeting new people. but give her a few minutes and she warms right up. Bea would like a large yard where she can laze about in the sun, and also be on patrol! Bea tested positive for Heartworm and the clinic has begun treatment, which means no heavy exercise for 6 weeks.
UPDATE 1/28/25
Bea had a nice break from the shelter and got to stay in a foster home for a few days.
Here is what her foster had to say about her stay...
"She was an excellent guest. Definitely use to the comforts of inside living but loves her independent outside time.
She is a guardian that’s for sure walking the perimeter making sure all was good.
She knows shake, sit and down.
She is a real sweet dog. When she heard the kids next door she politely barked and wagged her tail. I think she would be great with kids.
Non reactive to barking dogs on our walk. Not interested in the cat.
She is starting to play with toys and last bed her treats.
Thank you for letting me foster. "
