Female,German Shepherd, 6 months old as of 6/11/24, and 45 pounds.
Kate walks nice on leash and enjoys going for walks. Kate is playful and friendly, but like all puppies, she needs basic training, exercise, and proper socialization to become a well-behaved k9 citizen. German Shepherds are wonderful, loyal, and very smart dogs!

Aussie/ German shepherd mix, male, 1 year and 64 pounds
Stormy came to the shelter with Breezy; he’s braver than Breezy but still a little shy until he knows you. Stormy walks on leash and enjoys going for walks. He needs work on his sitting skills, but we bet he will be a quick study—as shepherds are a very smart breed. Stormy is friendly, smart, and eager to learn. This sweet dog will need help building up his confidence, and adopters who have experience with shy dogs would be a wonderful bonus for Stormy.
German Shepherd Dog, SPAYED female, 3 years old and 65 gorgeous pounds
Autumn is a smart, active dog. This girl would love a home with guardians who will include her on long walks and hikes. Autumn is friendly with people, knows sit, down and shake! What a smarty pants! She will need some leash work, but overall, Autumn is a happy and friendly girl. Autumn lived with another dog in her last home, so she could potentially live with another k9.
Female LABRADOR x, 1-2 years old, 78 pounds,
America came to the shelter with her eight pups— our STATE PUPPIES! Now, she’s learning how to be her own dog & puppy-free, getting ready to find her own forever home! America loves people and seems to be mellow indoors. Aside from needing a little leash work, and basic obedience, we think she will make a great, well behaved companion. Just look at her sweet, sweet face!
Mixed Breed male, 2 years old and 45 dapper pounds
Ted is a sweet dog who enjoys being around people. He enjoys being out in the wild blue yonder, and has lovely manners indoors. Ted walks nicely on-leash and knows a few basic commands. Ted is very smart and eager to learn new things, and he may enjoy going to canine school!
Lab X male pup, 9 months old and 40 sweet pounds
Mogli is a happy and energetic young dog. This cutie pie has a very curious personality and he’s interested in EVERYTHING going on around him! Mogli loves to play with toys, after his evaluation, he grabbed a stuffy toy and took it back to his kennel with him! What a smarty-pants!
Herding Dog male, 4 years old and 52 smarty-pants pounds!
Those herding dogs sure are some smart canines, and Bandit is no exception. Bandit is very people-friendly and is easy to walk on leash—when you’re walking with him, he always looks backs to check on you. Bandit likes to be close with his people but would also love a nice big yard to explore and take a nap in the sun. If you enjoy activities you can share with your dog, such as agility, flyable, etc, Bandit will most likely love to be your partner! You can be sure his breed smarts will get him a few purple ribbons!
GERMAN SHEPHED DOG female, 1 year and 51 beautiful pounds
Although she needs some fine tuning in the training department, Lady aims to please and is very attentive to her handler. With daily exercise and training, someone’s going to end up with an excellent dog. Lady is playful with toys and settles very nicely inside. And what a gorgeous coat and soulful eyes this beauty has!
Labrador X male, 10 months old and 49 oh-so-handsome pounds
Bob Marley 10 month old male that weighs 49lbs. Bob wants so bad to be your friend-but he is conflicted. It seems he did not get the important socialization dogs need in their young puppy months. Bob is very smart and willing to learn—he just needs a patient guardian who has the time to work with him. Bob walks nicely on leash and really enjoys playing with toys. Sounds like a winner to us! Come and meet Mr. Marley and take him for a walk!
Mixed Breed male, 3 years old and 50 delightful pounds
Cowboy is such a sweetheart! Right now, he can be a little shy when meeting new people. Cowboy enjoys going for walks and has a good start on his basic training, as he already knows sit and down. Cowboy loves to hang out with his people and is mellow indoors. We are recommending older children just because he can be a little “head shy”. We’re betting this guy will enjoy taking canine classes, where he can learn new and fun tricks. And, omg, this guy is so darn cute.
Mixed Breed NEUTERED male, 5 years old and, uh…133 pounds!!
George ended up at the shelter through no fault of his own. He was a beloved member of the family until his owner passed. George is mellow indoors and he is house trained. He walks nicely on leash and enjoys going for walks. This sweet dog knows sit and shake. Mr. G needs to shed some pounds, and he’s looking for an exercise partner to help him lose some weight!
